Aubergine dancers perform and teach at parties. We can send from one to ten dancers, depending on the size and budget of your event. From corporate galas to children's birthday parties, and everything in between, let us know your vision for the event so we can arrange an entertainment package that is uniquely suited to you and your guests! For multi-dancer shows, you can usually add $150/per dancer to the base price.

Hiring an excellent belly dancer can make your party exciting and memorable! Special attention is paid to the guest of honor. Retirement Parties, Bachelorettes, Bat Mitzvahs, Bar Mitzvahs... hire a professional entertainer for that extra sparkle.
Belly Dance Lessons and Performance Rates
Basic Party Package - Performance
A spirited and glamorous belly dance performance is an excellent addition to any festive event! 15-20 minutes is usually perfect as party entertainment. Sword dance or audience participation included if desired.
$250 for one dancer.
If you want a longer show, with more audience participation, your dancer can stay and dance with the guests.
Half Hour performance $275
Basic Party Package - Lesson
Your dancer will bring the music and lend your guests hip scarves to help set the mood. The party begins with a short belly dance demonstration in a nice belly dance teacher outfit. Then it’s on to a fun belly dance lesson in steps, circles, undulations, drops, and shimmies to get all of your guests moving their hips, and sharing the fun. One hour $175
Extra Party Package - performance and lesson
Your dancer arrives in a professional belly dance costume for a short performance with finger cymbals, silk veil, and if desired, a sword. Then the lesson begins, with everything in the basic package. Or your party can start with the lesson, and then your dancer changes into costume for a glittering performance. You decide if your guests would enjoy the lesson or the performance first.
One hour $300

Charity and Semi-charity Performances

Schools and Multicultural Events
Aubergines perform and teach at schools, scouting events, multicultural events, camps, and more. We have dances from Egypt, Turkey, Iran, Greece, India and Lebanon, and are adding more all the time. We also have a fairy tale we tell through dance. Kids love us! Email Nina for details.
Restaurants
Aubergine dancers can also perform at restaurants, as a one time event or as a weekly or monthly series. Customers will flock in to see this beautiful ethnic dance form! For recurring performances, the performance price is discounted to $100 for one dancer's set per night, and $160 for the same dancer to perform two sets. Single night parties are at the $250 rate.
Party Extras
Extras- You may want to buy the coined hip scarves for your guests to take home as party favors ($12 each from your Aubergine dancer). Or Ebay is a great source for inexpensive scarves in bulk if you order well in advance.
Silk veils for each guest can be rented for $5 each. Posing with the veils makes a great picture!
We can also arrange for a drummer, a henna artist, or of course, additional dancers, depending on the size and budget of your event.
